Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) and Real Fight Inc have announced that the rematch between Amanda “Real Deal” Serrano and Heather “The Heat” Hardy will take place on August 5 as the co-main event alongside Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz. The American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas is considered one of the nation’s top arenas, since opening its doors in 2001. It will play host to the August 5 card with Serrano vs Hardy and Paul vs Diaz set to steal the headlines. The Puerto Rican fighter won the WBO featherweight title from Hardy four years ago in a brutal 10-round fight and will put all her belts on the line, in this rematch.

Thoughts From Both Fighters

When asked about the upcoming clash with Hardy, the undisputed champion was full of gratitude for the opportunity she received in 2019. “I am the undisputed featherweight champion today because Heather Hardy agreed to fight me in 2019 for her WBO title,” said Serrano. “That was the first step in my current run at featherweight. It’s only right that I give her the opportunity to earn it back. I’m excited to once again share the card with Jake and put on an exciting war. This will be the first time I get to fight in Texas, and I promise the fans that they will not be disappointed.”

My late trainer told me, the day before he died, that 2023 would be my year.”
