2026 has provided some memorable moments so far, including Shakur Stevenson’s dominating performance against Teofimo Lopez and Daniel Dubois’ brilliant win over Fabio Wardley. Here are three fights you can’t miss in the June boxing schedule.

June boxing schedule: 3 fights to look forward to

The three fights we have listed are, in our opinion, the best ones on offer on the June boxing schedule. Edwin De Los Santos vs Jose Valenzuela and Oscar Collazo vs Joey Canoy are just two other fights we’ll be watching closely.

Antonio Vargas vs Jesse Bam Rodriguez

On June 13, at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, Antonio Vargas vs Jesse Bam Rodriguez headlines a Matchroom Boxing event, live on DAZN for Vargas’ WBA bantamweight world title.

This intriguing clash sees Bam (23-0, 16 KOs) move up to 118 pounds for the first time in his career, after defeating Fernando Martinez to win the WBA super flyweight title, adding to his existing WBC, WBO, and Ring Magazine titles.

Vargas 19-1-1, 11 KOs) became champion in recess after a fight with former champion Seiya Tsutsumi was postponed for a third time. Tsutsumi has now been placed in the same position after not being able to face Vargas, who was then elevated again.

Vargas is highly resilient and will be coming to win. He’s adept at fighting on the inside or outside, but Bam’s ultra-tight defence and exceptional lateral movement put him above anyone Vargas has faced.

Lewis Crocker vs Liam Paro

On June 24, at the Pat Rafter Arena in Tennyson, Queensland, Lewis Crocker (22-0, 11 KOs) defends his IBF welterweight world title against Liam Paro, live on DAZN.

Crocker was last seen in action, delivering a tactically impressive performance to beat Paddy Donovan by split decision in their rematch. Since that win, Crocker has left coach Billy Nelson and will now be coached by Huzaifah Iqbal. Paro (27-1, 16 KOs) previously held the IBF super lightweight title before losing to Richardson Hitchins. Since then, Paro has moved up to welterweight and won two fights in a row.

Crocker is tactically astute, as proven in the Donovan rematch, and he picks his punches well, wasting very little. Paro has a strong jab and also wastes very little. Crocker’s orthodox stance against Paro’s slick southpaw is a fascinating prospect on the June boxing schedule.

Xander Zayas vs Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis

The final fight of our three fights to watch on the June boxing schedule is the unified WBO/WBA super welterweight champion Xander Zayas vs Jaron Boots Ennis at the Barclays Center, Brooklyn, live and exclusive on DAZN PPV on June 27.

For many, this is a potential fight of the year candidate. Zayas (23-0, 13 KOs) was last seen in action, defeating Abass Baraou to add the WBA title to the WBO title he won against Jorge Garcia Perez. Ennis (35-0, 31 KOs) blew away Uisma Lima in one round, in what was his first fight at super welterweight.

Zayas is a talented boxer-puncher who doesn’t rush his work and is also a talented body puncher. Ennis is one of the most talented fighters on the planet. He’s a brilliant switch-hitter who carries fight-ending power. Zayas will need to punch between Ennis’s punches to make the Philly fighter second-guess his work. If this catches fire, this should be the pick of the fights to watch on the June boxing schedule.
