Chamberlain (17-1-1, 12 KOs) was fast becoming a household name, with Turki Alalshikh a big fan, before he suffered his only career loss to Josh Padley. Since then, the 27-year-old southpaw defeated Miguel Angel Scaringi before a highly competitive majority draw against Jack Rafferty, with many feeling Chamberlain had done enough to get the win.

Pierce O’Leary vs Mark Chamberlain is an intriguing fight, and one that could be closer than the odds suggest. O’Leary has a strong jab, which he pairs with good footwork to walk his opponent down consistently. He’s a force on the inside, with his body punching standing out. He carries plenty of power, and doesn’t rush his work. He’s shown a nasty side which every fighter needs. His toughness will be tested by the experienced Chamberlain.
