Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz – Fight Preview

History of Both Fighters

“The Problem Child” will be eager to get back to winning ways following his only professional defeat against Tommy Fury. Paul enters the ring with a fight record of 6-1 (4 KOs). His fight record includes two wins over Tyron Woodley and a win against fellow ex-UFC legend Anderson Silva. There’s no doubt Paul has taken to boxing well and carries punching power, but he will be taking on one of the toughest fighters in UFC history.

Nate Diaz will enter the ring making his boxing debut at 38. He was involved in several wars during his UFC career, including two memorable bloody contests with Conor McGregor. He also systematically beat up Donald CerroneDiaz proved throughout his stint in the UFC just how tough he was, and he will need to bring all this resolve to absorb Paul’s power. Fury kept the distance impressively, and Diaz will need to do the same and counter effectively.

He enters this one with unfavorable, UFC fight odds according to sources.

Experience and Fight Prediction

Diaz has an immeasurable combat sports experience edge over The Problem Child. However, that fight experience failed to help Ben Askren, Woodley and Silva. It will undoubtedly be a baptism of fire for Diaz despite his extensive combat fight experience. Paul has shown himself to be a competent boxer who possesses KO power, as proven against Woodley.

The southpaw ex-UFC star will need to call on all his fighting experience. Paul has proven to have the edge over UFC stars in the boxing ring thus far, making it difficult to see anything other than a KO victory for The Problem Child.

Big Fight Weekend Prediction: Jake Paul KO win in round three.
