Bruce Carrington was asked about the possibility of fighting WBC champion Stephen Fulton and what he thinks of his ability: “I’ve been talking about fighting Fulton for the past year and a half now because I knew he was coming up in weight at some point,” said Carrington.

“I noticed there’s a few things that he doesn’t keep up with, in terms of defensively that I can easily capitalise on,” added “Shu Shu.”

“I feel like I’m bigger than him. I feel like I’m stronger than him. I have a lot of different things that we have in common in terms of our boxing ability but I feel like where he edges me in experience I feel like I still have a better IQ than he does. I just utilise what I have, like my assets better than he does and I just want an opportunity.”

The Future for Bruce Carrington

If “Shu Shu” comes through March 29, he will surely be moving on to bigger fights. When asked about other potential fights at featherweight and facing the other champions in unification fights in the future: “I’m very inclined to fight Rafael Espinoza as well too. I’m number one in the WBO. I’m here to fight all the other champions. Angelo Leo as well too. I’m ranked number 4 in the IBF. I wanna fight all these guys. But these guys got to have to be the ones to step up to the plate. I’m here. I’m not ducking anybody. I would say the most attractive fights for me are Stephen Fulton and Nick Ball.”
