Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua presser: Both on stage with Max Kellerman

It often felt like we would never get to see Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua. It’s been years in the making, and more recently the fight looked close before the Eddie Hearn vs Dana White debacle took centre stage, but now we have moved a step closer with the launch press conference taking place to kick off the build-up to their December 11 fight at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff. Ahead of this mega-fight, Fury spoke to Queensberry Promotions, delivering his brutal prediction for the December clash.

Tyson Fury finally set to face Anthony Joshua on December 11

Joshua (30-4, 27 KOs) looked reborn, recording four consecutive wins before being brutally stopped by Daniel Dubois. He returned to action, beating Jake Paul and, more recently, surviving two knockdowns before stopping Kristian Prenga.

Fury (36-2-1, 25 KOs) suffered back-to-back defeats and decided to retire before returning this year and defeating Arslanbek Makhmudov and Mariusz Wach. “The Gypsy King” is best known for his trilogy with Deontay Wilder.

Fury delivers brutal prediction ahead of Joshua showdown

Talking to Queensberry Promotions about his upcoming mega fight with Joshua, Fury delivered a brutal prediction for the December 11 showdown:

“With my ability, he should be a heavy bag on legs. (I’ll) set about him, properly, get him out of there, and move on to the next.”

The Big Fight Weekend verdict: Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua

On September 30, Fury and Joshua finally shared a stage together at the launch press conference. The atmosphere was cordial, with just enough spice to keep it interesting.

Both were full of confidence while being respectful to each other. Looking ahead to the fight, based on their recent performances, the main question is who has the most left.

Fury hasn’t looked the same since his taxing trilogy with Wilder, and despite being competitive with Usyk, he was soundly beaten in both bouts. Joshua looked all at sea against Prenga, but the finish was vintage AJ.

Despite Fury’s predictions that he would knock out Joshua, we see him boxing, using his jab and moving. Standing in front of AJ is risky, as he could walk into one. Our prediction is that Fury will win by unanimous decision after coming through some sticky moments.
