Top Rank Announce Groundbreaking Deal With Team USA Amateur Standout

Top Rank boxing consistently added brilliant prospects to their stable during 2024 and have started this year in a great way, signing Team USA amateur standout Julius Ballo. This agreement will see Top Rank and Overtime Boxing co-promote the San Diego-born fighter. Both will collaborate to guide his development in and out of the ring. Ballo and Bob Arum have both reacted to the deal.

Julius Ballo: Amateur Standout to Pro Boxer

The San Diego fighter already has a big social media following with 640k followers on Instagram. He will make his professional bow in the featherweight division, managed by James Prince.

Ballo won a gold medal at the National Golden Gloves in May, previously winning the national championships twice and a Junior Pan American Games gold medal. Ballo is a box of tricks, with excellent movement and decision-making during his fights. He picks his shots impressively and controls the distance well in his fights.

Julius Ballo Talks Pro Deal

“I represent a new school of fighters looking to revamp the sport, and I’m looking forward to building my way to the top.” 

Many eyes will be on Ballo and his progression under the Top Rank banner. The talented technician from San Diego will be eager to show he’s destined for the top.
