Jarrell Miller

Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller and controversy go hand in hand with him being banned for taking PEDs in the past. The American is a huge heavyweight who carries knockout power. Miller will need to prove his chin in this fight, as Dubois carries impressive power, as proven by his 18 KOs in 19 wins.

Miller is a pressure fighter who will keep coming forward, taking it to Dubois. It could be an uncomfortable night for the Englishman. The American is adept at punching from angles, meaning the London-born fighter will need to be defensively solid. Miller spoken to Big Fight Weekend at the grand arrivals event, and told us: “Imma knock him [Dubois] dead.”

Daniel Dubois

This is a massive fight for both fighters, but a career-defining fight for Dubois. His punching power is impressive and has helped him develop a reputation as a formidable puncher. His defeats to Joe Joyce and Oleksandr Usyk have left many doubting – his credentials as a top-class heavyweight.

Dubois is capable of knocking anyone out, but Miller is durable, so it’s vital the London-born fighter paces himself better than he has done in previous fights. It’s imperative for Dubois to control the distance and avoid getting involved in a war with Miller. He needs to pick punches well and counter effectively.

Prediction for Dubois vs. Miller

The showdown between Dubois and Miller will seemingly provide plenty of fireworks, with two heavy-handed fighters looking for the knockout. Dubois needs to let Miller feel his power early but has to be wary not to be caught himself. It’s imperative that “Dynamite” controls the distance and doesn’t get dragged into a war, as his American opponent is durable. Dubois needs to pace his fight well and let his hands go at the right time.

Miller will seemingly look to drag this fight into later rounds before taking over with his effective pressure tactics. Despite both being big punching heavyweights, it will be a clash of contrasting styles. At Big Fight Weekend, we are going for a Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller stoppage win in rounds 7-9.
