At the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on November 9, Jaron “Boots” Ennis (32-0, 29 KOs) will defend his IBF welterweight title against Karen Chukhadzhian (24-2, 13 KOs). In the co-main event, Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez (20-0, 13 KOs) will face Pedro Guevara (42-4-1, 22 KOs) for the WBC super flyweight title. The entire Matchroom Boxing card will be shown live on DAZN in over 200 countries across the globe. Ahead of this intriguing fight card, “Boots” and “Bam” have spoken to DAZN’s Off the Cuff, and revealed the bold plans they have for beyond November 9.

Ennis and Rodriguez Aim for Undisputed Titles

When discussing the present and future of American boxing, it’s difficult to leave “Boots” Ennis and “Bam” Rodriguez out of these conversations. Both have excelled in the ring and are expected to come through their respective fights on November 9, before moving on to bigger fights.

Two-weight world champion Rodriguez has spoken about where he sees his future, and the San Antonio native has lofty ambitions: “I’m trying to go undisputed at 115 and then go on from there,” Rodriguez said.

He added: “Eventually end up at 126 [Featherweight, 130 [Super featherweight.”

Ennis, understandably has high ambitions, targeting undisputed glory: “With me, I’m trying to be undisputed at 147, 154, 160 and maybe 168.” Ennis stated.
