The meeting between the two Mexicans will present the first four-belt undisputed title fight for Mexico vs. Mexico. During the press conference, there was plenty of respect between the two combatants, but both seem to be ready for a high-octane, all-action fight on Cinco de Mayo weekend.

Aside from being available on Prime Video, the PPV will be available on DAZN, and accessible through traditional cable and satellite outlets, and PPV.com.

Ahead of this historic fight, here is what both fighters, their trainers and Oscar De La Hoya had to say:

Canelo Álvarez

“This fight is a great source of pride for me, because it’s all about Mexico. I’m proud to have my country featured this way in front of the whole world. The fans are going to be the biggest winners on May 4 and we invite everyone to what’s gonna be a big party for Mexico.

“Defending my undisputed title is very important for me. This is all about making history. I want my legacy to be that I made history again and again. That’s what motivates me to keep defending my belts and giving great fights to the fans.

Eddy Reynoso
