Arum Talks Future for Top Rank and Praises DAZN

DAZN have enjoyed a successful time in boxing, with high-profile deals with Matchroom and Golden Boy at the forefront. The streaming giant also recently added Queensberry Promotions to their portfolio, with Frank Warren expressing his delight at the deal: “I could not be more pleased that Queensberry is joining DAZN. This is a brilliant move for our fighters and, most importantly, for the fans. Their ambition and passion for the sport of boxing aligns perfectly with that of our own and we now look forward to putting on the biggest nights possible together.”

With Queensberry joining the DAZN team, could Top Rank be next? When talking to the Women’s Boxing Show, the founder of Top Rank was asked if he could see Top Rank working with DAZNwho recently announced the Queensberry deal will commence in April 2025: “Well, were have to see. I mean they’ve asked for a meeting with us, and we don’t want to be exclusive to anyone.”

Arum added: “We’re gonna have different packages for different networks and streaming platforms. DAZN is doing a great job in boxing and the people who run DAZN are friends of ours and I think it’s possible.”

The Future

Whether Top Rank joins DAZN remains to be seen. Having another promotional company under the same umbrella should help further break down doors to make the best possible fights for the fans. This could seemingly help make more events such as the historic 5v5 between Matchroom and Queensberry.
