Exclusive Frank Warren Interview: Daniel Dubois’ KO of Joshua: What’s Next?
The interview began looking back at Dubois-Joshua before attention quickly turned to what could be next for Dubois: “He went on holiday today and we are going to sit down when he’s back and look at the options,” Warren said.
Warren continued: “Obviously, the big fight is taking place on the 21st of December in Riyadh, part of the Riyadh Season, which is the rematch between (Oleksandr) Usyk and Tyson (Fury), so we’ve got an eye on that.”

Referring to a possible rematch with Joshua, Warren said: “We’ve had quite a few approaches from AJ’s team asking about a rematch and I wouldn’t have a problem with that because I think Dan would deal with the rematch the same way as the last fight.”
The Queensberry founder added: “We also look after quite a few other heavyweights like Zhang, Parker so there’s some good fights to be made there against some good heavyweights.”

Fury vs. Usyk II and Upcoming Riyadh Season Cards
Talking about Fury ahead of the Usyk rematch: “He is in a very good frame of mind, good condition.”
When asked to share any details on the Fury-Usyk undercard, Warren said: “There will be heavyweight fights in there. There will be another Riyadh Season early in the new year. We have been working on those cards and there’s still some things to be done.”

Talking about the next two Riyadh season cards and recent meetings with Turki Alalshikh, Warren revealed: “We’ve had some quite serious meetings and good meetings regarding the fights were putting together. All the heavyweights will be out. Kabayel will be out, Baby Miller will be back in action. All these guys are going to fighting in various fights.”
Warren on Hamzah Sheeraz’s Future After Recent Win
Rafael asked Warren what is planned for the undefeated middleweight Hamzah Sheeraz: “I hope his next fight will be for a world title. He’s a young man and that fight against “Ammo” (Williams) was quite interesting. He got clipped a couple of times in that fight and he dealt with it well and came back and did what he had to do.”

He continued: “I think he will be around for a long time and he will get better and better. He does remind me of Tommy Hearns. He’s got that sort of look of him. That rangy, long, very loose-limbed, got a long jab and quite tall.” He added: “When he gets inside, he gets real good uppercuts off. A bit like Tommy used to do.”
Praise for Nick Ball
The conversation then turned to the current WBA featherweight champion, and Warren was full of praise for the Liverpudlian: “He’s like a dynamo, everything is all action. You’d think he was Mexican rather than British, the way he fights. He just walks forward, he just lets his shots go, he’s exciting, he’s hurtful but he’s also a good boxer and he’s quite hard to hit.”
Warren Looks for International Talent
When asked about signing talent outside of the K, including Brandun Lee and Nathan Lugo, Warren said: “My son George is the CEO of the business, and the view is that we’ve done what we’ve done in the UK and were now going to extend to America.”
He continued: “We’ve signed these guys, and these guys will be on Queensberry shows in the U.S.”
