Arthur Biyarslanov Blasts Out Mohamed Mimoune Early
Arthur Biyarslanov (18-0, 15 KOs) may consider Mohamed Mimoune (24-7, 5 KOs) a friend, but he certainly did not let that affect his performance in the ring.
The Canadian won their super lightweight clash via technical knockout at the 2:16 mark of round two. With the stoppage, Biyarslanov continues his ascent of the 140-lb rankings. This was also his fifth fight over an 11-month span.
The bout headlined an Eye of the Tiger Management (EOTTM) event at the Casino de Montréal in Québec, Canada. Fight fans could catch the action live on Punching Grace. Those in the United States could do so with ESPN+. In Canada, TVA Sports were also broadcasting the event.

Arthur Biyarslanov vs. Mohamed Mimoune Fight Recap
The opening round saw Biyarslanov come forward and having little difficulty in landing his punches. Mimoune stuck to moving off of his back foot. However, he was throwing very little.
Early in round two, Biyarslanov sent his opponent down with several hooks. Once Mimoune got up, the Canadian just kept landing hook after hook. The Frenchman complained of shots behind the head, but the referee allowed the fight to continue. This only allowed Biyarslanov to keep landing hooks until the referee decided to put an end to proceedings.

Post-fight Interview
Arthur Biyarslanov
“Alhamdulillah first of all,” said Biyarslanov. “I just landed a shot that hurt him and I decided to go for it because I see him hurt. This is boxing. You get one punch, you could get hurt. So, I’m excited, I’m happy. I want to thank Mohamed Mimoune. He’s my brother. I appreciate him. He made this fight happen. Thank you Mohamed.”
“You know, 140 is the hottest division right now. I want to fight all of them. I want to fight anyone in the top 10. I don’t know who’s there. Devin Haney, Ryan Garcia, all these guys. I want to get a shot. I know Camille [Estephan, his promoter] will give me that shot, one step at a time. I fought five times in a year now. My third title defence [of the NABF], my second main event. With a team like this behind me, I’ll get to the world championship fight.”
