Zuffa Boxing announce clash between Ryan Garcia and Conor Benn
Zuffa Boxing have formally announced that Ryan Garcia (25-2, 20 KOs, 1 NC) will take on Conor Benn (25-1, 14 KOs).
Their bout will headline a Sept. 12 card at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV. Fight fans in the United Kingdom and Ireland will be able to catch the action live on DAZN. The rest of the world will be able to do so with Paramount+.
Zuffa Boxing announced the news via press release and their social media accounts on Wednesday. Garcia’s WBC welterweight world title will be on the line for the fight. He won the title earlier this year against Mario Barrios. This will be Garcia’s first defence of it.

“You’ve quit once,” posted Benn to X. “I’ll make you quit again! Can’t teach heart! See you September 12th.”
“This is such a great fight,” said promoter Dana White in the press release. “Conor Benn has won 26 of his 27 professional fights [sic] and is coming off a big win in the U.K. earlier this year. Ryan Garcia is one of the biggest stars in boxing and a world champion. These guys are in their prime, and it’s a fight they’ve both wanted for a long time. They’ll come face-to-face for the first time today before stepping into the ring on September 12 during Mexican Independence Day weekend at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The energy in that place will be incredible.”
