Zuffa Boxing sign British heavyweight – and his fight date is already confirmed
Zuffa Boxing continue to add to its stable of fighters, with its shows improving and appearing to get bigger, with the recent show in Bournemouth a sign of that. Their deal with Sky Sports and the signing of Conor Benn showed their commitment to the UK, and they have now signed British heavyweight Johnny Fisher, who will make his Zuffa debut on September 26 at the Copper Box arena.

Fisher (14-1, 12 KOs) will headline at the Copper Box Arena in London on September 26, with the entire card live on Sky Sports.
The big-punching heavyweight has built up a big following, with his fan-friendly come-forward style. He was undefeated until a brutal stoppage loss against Dave Allen in their rematch.
“The Romford Bull” will be headlining Zuffa Boxing 11, with the opponent and undercard to be confirmed in the coming weeks. This will be his third appearance at the Copper Box. Following his loss to Allen, Fisher fought for the final time on a Matchroom Boxing card in Monte Carlo in December, stopping Ivan Balaz.
Johnny Fisher reacts to Zuffa Boxing deal
Reacting to the confirmation of his deal with Zuffa, Fisher said:
“The most exciting chapter of my professional career begins,” Fisher said. “Thank you to Dana White, Nick Khan, and the Zuffa Boxing team for this opportunity.
“Everything has led to this point. Bull Army, get ready to assemble. Bosh!”
“I’m really excited to be on the platform that is Sky Sports. That was the first thing that came my mind. That is the home of football, the home of all the sports in the UK and I want to be part of that on that massive platform,” Fisher said.
“I want to take my career to the next level and I think this is the place to be.
“I can bring blood and guts, I can bring war and I can bring tear ups to your Saturday nights. There’s an appetite for it. Everyone loves heavyweight boxing and I go in there to seek and destroy – and there’s a big chance I could be sought and destroyed as well. That’s exciting for people to watch,” he told Sky Sports.
