Pat Brown vs. Vasil Ducar fight recap
Pat Brown (6-0, 6 KOs) remained undefeated with an eighth round technical knockout of Vasil Ducar (19-8-2, 14 KOs).
The official time of stoppage was 2:58. Brown, who represented Britain at the 2024 Olympics, remains on course to challenge for world titles with the victory.
Brown had a dominant opening round, staying at range and landing a greater number of punches than his opponent. The jab landed consistently for the Englishman, preventing Ducar from closing the distance. An uppercut in round three slightly bloodied the nose of Brown.
Both men picked up their work rate as the bout entered the middle rounds. This benefited Brown, who scored a knockdown late in the fifth with a left hook to the body and head. Ducar rose to his feet, but it was clear that he had no answers to his opponent. He was knocked down once again in round six from a right uppercut followed by a left hook upstairs.

Ducar had moments of success, particularly in round seven which saw him knock Brown’s gumshield out twice with clean shots. Unfortunately for the Czech, it had little impact on the final result. In round eight, Ducar took a brief knee after getting hit with a right and left hook upstairs, followed by a left hook to the body. Referee Michael Alexander put an end to proceedings following that.
