First up on the podcast is David Payne, a.k.a. “The Boxing Writer” from England, and he has his own insight into whether the David Allen vs. Dorian Darch heavyweight fight in England might have had “fixed” 3rd round knockout outcome. David also interviewed Allen within the last year and has some perspective on his story.

Then, he and T.J. speak on the historical significance of the Douglas monumental upset of Tyson and why we’re still talking about it 30 years later.

Finally, T.J. is joined by Marquis Johns, Sr. Writer of Big Fight Weekend.com and special guest Jake Donován, Sr. Writer of Boxingscene.com. The guys also discuss the Allen-Darch controversy and fallout from it.

From there, they preview the DAZN streaming service card for Golden Boy Promotions  Friday night in California featuring unbeaten lightweight Ryan Garcia as the main event.

Jake has great insight, living in Nashville, TN, on native Caleb Plant coming back home Saturday night to defend his IBF Super Middleweight belt on Fox free TV against German Vincent Feignbutz who has been the talk of the town as he prepares for the upset.

Marquis Johns is a unknown humorist and avid boxing fan. His love for the sweet science goes back to when matches were 15 rounds and has been covering fights since closed-circuit pay-per-views. Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth is not only a quote by Mike Tyson, it's also a pretty good reminder to keep your guard up.
