Turki Alalshikh Reveals Five-Fight Wishlist for 2025
On January 11, it was the 2024 Ring Magazine Awards, where boxing royalty attended and paid tribute to the best fighters and most memorable moments from the past 12 months in the boxing world. Looking ahead to 2025, Turki Alalshikh has spoken to Carl Froch and revealed his five-fight wish list for 2025.

We already have the first monster card set in 2025, with Feb. 22 in Riyadh hosting a loaded card, headed by Artur Beterbiev vs. Dmitry Bivol 2. This card will also feature the return of Shakur Stevenson and an intriguing all-British clash between Callum Smith and Joshua Buatsi.
This strong start to 2025 shows no signs of slowing up with His Excellency looking to keep the momentum going, naming five fights he wants to see in 2025: “I want to see Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn, I want to see of course Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua,” he said to Froch.

He continued: “I want to see Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford, and I also want to see Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia the rematch.”
Looking ahead to what’s next for Oleksandr Usyk, His Excellency said: “For Oleksandr Usyk he will wait for the card of February. He has said he wants to fight one or two fights more, and I would like to see the Dubois rematch.”
Making 2025 Fight Wishlist a Reality
If anyone can make every fight mentioned a reality, it’s Turki Alalshikh. Eubank vs. Benn seems stuck on the purse-split side of the agreement, while Haney vs. Garcia will depend on what happens once Garcia’s ban is up.
Alalshikh has made it clear he wants to see Crawford vs. Canelo, and this fight now looks more possible to make with Alvarez recently saying: “I never say no to business.” He continued: “So if it’s business for me, I’m open to talk, no matter what,” said the Mexican superstar. Alalshikh also posted a photo on his X account of him and Canelo which will have fans dreaming of a Canelo Riyadh Season fight.

It seems pretty straightforward that Usyk will face the winner of Joseph Parker vs. Daniel Dubois, which should be an undisputed clash, which would be historic, seeing a heavyweight fight with all four belts on the line again.
Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua, even for no titles, will still be a massive event in the world of boxing and would seemingly be the headline fight on a Wembley Stadium card.
Since the involvement of Riyadh Season, we have been blessed with many great fights, including some that never seemed likely, such as Beterbiev vs. Bivol. 2025 looks set to be another historic year, and if His Excellency can make these five fights happen, we are in for an historic 12 months.
