Tim Tszyu’s Manager Weighs In on Potential Keith Thurman Clash
Former WBO super welterweight champion Tim Tszyu (24-2, 17 KOs) will return to action on April 6 against American Joseph Spencer (19-1, 11 KOs) at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre, Broadmeadow, Newcastle. His manager Glen Jennings has spoken to members of the media, including Fight Hub TV about a potential eagerly anticipated fight against Keith “One Time” Thurman.

Glen Jennings Weighs In on Tszyu vs. Thurman
The Sydney native will be eager to return to winning ways following back-to-back defeats against Sebastian Fundora and Bakhram Murtazaliev. Before the fight against Fundora, the Aussie was due to face Keith Thurman, before “One Time” withdrew due to a bicep injury, which was indicative of his injury troubles since his win over Mario Barrios in 2022.
Many speculated that was the last we would see of “One Time,” but he returned and delivered an impressive performance, stopping Brock Jarvis on March 12. The 36-year-old Florida native made it clear after the fight he still wants the Tszyu fight.

After reflecting on Keith Thurman’s comeback win over Brock Jarvis, Glen Jennings was asked how Thurman matches up with Tszyu: “Great fight, great fight,” he said.
“Tim and Keith will be two very, very high-level, skilled fighters going at it and it will be a totally different fight. The interesting part for me is, in Tim’s current mental state, where he now knows and has learnt and he’s focused and bearing down on everything that he needs to do. I think it will be an absolute cracker of a fight, I really do.”
Looking ahead to Tim Tszyu vs Joseph Spencer on April 6, Jennings said: “Keith Thurman in the background adds that extra level of excitement.”
