Natasha Jonas Hints at Exciting Future Fight Plans
On December 14, Natasha Jonas (15-2-1, 9 KOs) will face Ivana Habazin (23-5, 7 KOs) in a WBC/IBF welterweight unification bout at the Liverpool Exhibition Centre live on Sky Sports+ from 7 pm and live on Sky Sports Main Event from 8.30 pm. A win here for Jonas would catapult her onto even bigger fights, including a potential fight against current IBO champion Lauren Price (7-0, 1 KO) who will face Bexcy Mateus (7-0, 6 KOs) on the Jonas-Habazin bill. Despite the unification bout this weekend, the Liverpudlian fighter has revealed to Sky Sports that a bumper all-British multi-title unification fight is likely to happen should she and Price come through their December 14 fights.

Jonas Discusses Potential Price Bout Ahead of Habazin
A potential multi-title unification bout between Jonas and Price would be huge for Women’s boxing. Price has seemingly welcomed the fight in the past and Jonas also appears more than prepared to face the Welsh fighter: “It’s a fight that I’ve signed an extension for. It’s a fight that’s definitely on the cards if we both come through. But I’m not trying to look past the one that’s in front of me. I’ve just got to do my part, which is beat Habazin, so that’s what I’m focused on,” said Jonas.
The Liverpool fighter will need to be prepared for the Habazin fight – as the Croatian fighter has mixed at a high level. She has faced Claressa Shields and Cecilia Braekhus before winning the vacant WBC title Kinga Magyar.

Jonas spoke to Sky Sports about the strengths of Habazin: “She’s been a pro for a very long time, she’s very experienced. She’s been in big nights, big fights and she hasn’t just come to take part. She’s come to win and that will make for a great fight. She’s got a good jab, good feet. I just think whatever she can bring, I’m better,” Jonas said.
Accolades
Looking ahead to Saturday, Jonas said: “You never think of the accolades that come with winning titles, you just think about winning. I’m pretty sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong, but I think I’ll become the first Brit to unify at two different weights if I win.”
