Juan Francisco Estrada Open To 4th Chocolatito Bout

Heading into his third showdown with Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez in Glendale, AZ, on Saturday night, the Mexican superstar Juan Francisco Estrada teases the potential of a fourth fight with the Nicaraguan great. At 43-3 with 28 KOs, Estrada will once again put his WBC and Ring Magazine Super-Flyweight titles on the line in what’s set to be another thrilling battle with Gonzalez.

“We’ve had a great training camp and I’m desperate to get in the ring for the trilogy with Roman,” said Estrada. “I’m happy and I feel like it will be a great fight like the last two.” After having stated the following, it now appears as if Estrada would gladly welcome a fourth bout against Gonzalez with whom he’s already had two very competitive fights. The sheer excitement and electricity that comes with this rivalry seems to have garnered an endless amount of buzz throughout the boxing world.

So, there’s no doubt that this epic saga will continue to draw big crowds regardless of where they wind up fighting each other. Considering that their third fight will be something of an early Christmas present to boxing fans worldwide, it would only make sense that these two studs continue to go at it. For Estrada, it’s a duel that draws strong comparison to that of Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez who faced off against one another four times with their first fight ending in a draw and Pacquiao winning two of the next three.

“He beat me in 2012 and I beat him in the second fight, so you could say this is the decider. There might be a fourth like Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Márquez, who knows? We’ll have our trilogy, and we don’t know whether it will end here or not. We’re going to find out who is the best, who will be leading in fights won and if in the future, God willing, there is a fourth, bring it on.” Estrada said. As both fighters prepare to duke it out for the third time, all eyes will be homed in and ready for a memorable night.
