JoJo Diaz signs with MTK Global

MTK Global has announced the signing of IBF super featherweight champion Joseph ‘JoJo’ Diaz on an advisory deal.

Two-weight world champion Diaz (31-1, 15 KOs) is regarded as one of the best fighters in the world, and is the latest big name American signing for MTK Global during its continued expansion into the US.

Diaz joins fellow American superstars Lorenzo ‘Truck’ Simpson and Jonathan Lopez by signing with MTK Global in the past week, making it another sign of things to come stateside.

Diaz has looked sensational throughout his professional career, and in his last outing claimed the IBF super featherweight title with a fantastic victory over Tevin Farmer in January. He also earned the WBA featherweight title following a win over Jesus M Rojas in 2018.

His style makes him a must-see fighters around to watch, having been involved in a number of extremely entertaining contests.

During his prestigious amateur career, he competed at the 2012 Olympics in London, and at just 27-years-old, the Californian native is destined for massive success in boxing for years to come.

Diaz said: “I’m very excited to announce that MTK Global and I are now working together.

“As a professional athlete it is very crucial to have a team looking out for my best interests, and I am proud to have MTK a part of it, with now being the most important time of my career.

“MTK has done a great job with some big names in the boxing world and as a champion it is essential to maximize opportunities both inside and outside the ring.
