Janibek Alimkhanuly vs. Andrei Mikhailovich: Press Conference Quotes and Fight Prediction

Janibek Alimkhanuly (15-0, 10 KOs) and Andrei Mikhailovich (21-0, 13 KOs) will finally look to face each other on Friday.

The two middleweights headline a No Limit Boxing Promotions card at The Star in Sydney, Australia. Boxing fans in the United States can catch the action live on ESPN+. Alimkhanuly and Mikhailovich were originally going to face each other on July 13 in Las Vegas, NV. However, severe dehydration resulted in Alimkhanuly having to withdraw from the bout. The fight was eventually rescheduled to October 4. Alimkhanuly is the IBF and WBO middleweight world champion. However, only the IBF title will be at stake as the WBO declined to sanction the fight.

Fight Prediction

Alimkhanuly should prove to be a step too far for his challenger from New Zealand. The Kazakh does several things better than his opponent and it is difficult to see him losing to a fighter like Mikhailovich. Expect a stoppage win for Alimkhanuly somewhere in the middle rounds.
