Jake Paul And Amanda Serrano Set To Co-Headline
Jake Paul said in the aftermath of his first-round KO over Andre August last weekend that he would be back soon. He was telling the truth.
Thursday, Most Valuable Promotions announced that Paul will co-headline with women’s world featherweight champ Amanda Serrano in her home country, Puerto Rico, on March 2nd.

Jake Paul to Co-headline With Amanda Serrano

“…Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano (46-2-1, 30 KOs) will make her long-awaited return to Puerto Rico vs. IBF mandatory challenger Nina Meinke (18-3, 4 KOs) on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the legendary Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico, live globally on DAZN. This event, sponsored by CELSIUS Live Fit Essential Energy, marks Amanda Serrano’s first fight in Puerto Rico since becoming undisputed champion, with a sellout crowd expected to honor her as Puerto Rico’s first-ever undisputed world boxing champion, male or female. Serrano will fight for the second time at 12×3, the men’s championship standard, in defense of her unified IBF, WBO, WBA, IBO, and Ring Magazine featherweight world titles. In a true commitment to change women’s boxing, Serrano recently vacated her WBC title, as the sanctioning body does not support women’s choice for 12×3.
Co-headlining alongside Serrano will be international superstar Jake “The Problem Child” Paul (8-1, 5 KOs), who will continue his path towards becoming cruiserweight world champion in his 10th professional fight fresh off his first-round KO of professional boxer Andre August. “
Serrano’s Homecoming
Serrano, a seven-division world champ, will return in March after winning in her latest title defence in November. That’s when she fought a 12- 3 minute rounds title defence (her first) with a near shutout win over Danila Ramos. Serrano had been working towards fighting title bouts that are 12 rounds in length, not 10, and three minutes in duration, not two. The WBA, IBF WBO and the Florida Commission went along with it, however, the WBC continues to maintain that it’s a safety issue and won’t sanction 12,- 3 3-minute rounds in women’s title bouts.
So after her latest defence, Serrano has vacated the WBC’s 126 lb. title, while still holding the the other three titles. She touted in the release that this title defence with Meinke will also be 12 rounds on top of it being her first-ever title fight in Puerto Rico,

The German Meinke has won both of her fights this year and is the IBF’s mandatory 126 lb. challenger.
Jake Wants to Be Back Quicker
As for Jake Paul, 8-1, 5 KOs, he barely broke a sweat in disposing of August with a thudding uppercut for a KO in Orlando last weekend. Paul has made it clear – that he now wants to fight cruiserweight boxers to gain experience and try to move up in the ranks later in 2024. Regardless of what’s in store for “The Problem Child” in 2024, he will seemingly be entertaining us in and out of the ring.
While his opponent will be named at some point later, Paul said in the release,

Say this- the commitment to being back in the ring in 90 days after an easy win in less than one round is smart for the interest in Paul’s fights. Paul fought previously five months after his decision win in August over MMA star Nate Diaz. And, Serrano will certainly sell significant tickets for this event, as well.
