Co-Main Event: Shadasia Green vs. Franchon Crews Dezurn
In the co-main event of the night – Franchón Crews-Dezurn (9-2, 2 KOs) returned to the ring for the first time since her loss to Savannah Marshall and caused an upset, defeating Shadasia Green (13-1, 11 KOs) via unanimous decision to win the vacant WBC super-middleweight title. It was a scrappy fight, but Crews-Dezurn smothered the work of Green and seemed to get better as the fight went on – and clearly won rounds six, seven and eight and showed her experience from the opening round as she was the aggressor throughout, which was enough for the judges who scored the bout 98-92 and 97-93 x 2.
