Heavy-Handed 135/140 Contender Inks Co-Promotional Deal With Top Rank
The heavy-handed Argentine contender Gustavo Lemos (29-1, 19 KOs) has signed a co-promotional deal with Top Rank in association with O.R. Promotions. Lemos and his all-action style has seen him become a contender at lightweight and junior welterweight. Bob Arum and “El Electrico” have spoken on the deal via a Top Rank press release.

Parties Involve Discuss Deal
In March 2022, Lemos demolished former world champion Lee Selby in five rounds in an IBF lightweight world title eliminator, which brought him to the attention of many in the boxing world. Since that impressive performance, the Argentine has defeated Javier Jose Clavero in the first round before losing to unbeaten American Richardson Hitchins in an IBF junior welterweight world title eliminator, with many considering it a controversial decision. His first bout for Top Rank is set to be announced shortly.
