The highly anticipated catchweight fight Eubank vs Benn was one many have wanted, and both have been involved in numerous back-and-forth in person and on social media. Eubank has teased that the fight was close, and Turki Alalshikh has revealed the fight is happening.

The British duo finally look set to meet in their highly anticipated grudge match. The announcement on X read: “Eubank Jr [versus] Benn [is] done,” he wrote on X. [It will be] in April, [in] London. Soon I will announce the day and the location,
“I will push to make [the] PPV price £19.99 for the fans, with [a] tough undercard. Let’s get boxing great again and wait for [a] huge announcement soon.”

Conor Benn Troubles

Benn’s public troubles seem to be at an end, and he will finally be able to concentrate on his boxing. Towards the end of 2024, he released a statement via his X account, claiming he had been cleared. That was followed by news that the UK Anti-Doping and British Board of Boxing Control had elected not to appeal his suspension being lifted.

Recently, Eddie Hearn spoke on the Boxing with Mannix and Mora podcast and seemingly suggested Mario Barrios was the preferred option for Benn. However, Eubank said on The Stomping Ground: “It’s been a long time coming. It’s crazy to think this fight would have and should have happened two-and-a-half years ago.” 

Whatever you think of both, many will undoubtedly tune in to watch these bitter rivals settle their differences once and for all.
