Crolla not done yet, wants one more fight
Anthony ‘Million Dollar’ Crolla has had a moment to reflect and focus on what he wants to do next after coming off his third round stoppage to the hands of Vasiliy Lomachencko back in April. The former WBA lightweight champion recently stated despite the loss, this wasn’t the end of his boxing career and is looking forward to getting back into the ring for at least one more contest.
“I think I’ll have one more,” Crolla said in an interview with Sky Sports. “I’ve had a bit time out thinking what to do.”
In terms of where Crolla would like to fight next, the Manchester native mentioned would like to have it take place back home.
“I was always pretty sure I was going to go out with one more fight hopefully in Manchester,” Crolla told Sky Sports. “Then I’ve got to learn to sort of let go.”

Crolla still believes that he can again battle at the world level despite the setback to Lomachencko, but is more content on not having to end his career the way it did in his last contest.
“Do I believe I can compete at world level? Yes, I do. I showed last November, Daud Yordan is a world-rated fighter, he’s in nearly all the governing bodies’ top 10 and I got home in a hard fight against him, so I believe that.
“But I’ve got to be realistic, I’ve banged on about it so much about staying in boxing too long, I just wouldn’t like to go out the way I did, if that was my last fight.”I know I’ve spoken to a lot of knowledgeable people and they say ‘he’s one of the all-time greats so it’s no shame in that’ and I suppose there’s not.”
Lomachencko has made folks question their abilities, and we’ll see what lies ahead for Crolla after this one.
