Chris Bourke and Ashley Lane Clash for British and Commonwealth Titles
British and Commonwealth glory will be at stake when Chris Bourke (13-1, 8 KOs) and Ashley Lane (17-10-2, 2 KOs) face each other Friday night.
The two bantamweights headline a Queensberry Promotions event at York Hall in London, England. TNT Sports will broadcast the action for viewers in the UK. The March 22 card will also feature the ring return of young heavyweight Moses Itauma (7-0, 5 KOs), the professional debut of Olympian Luke McCormack and more.

Bourke vs. Lane
Bourke is currently on a three-fight win streak since he lost to Marc Leach at the same venue two years ago. That fight was for the British title at super bantamweight. Since then, Bourke has fought thrice while weighing in the range of 120-121 lbs. He came in at 117.25 lbs for this title clash.
Lane enters this bout having become the English bantamweight champion with a seventh-round stoppage win over undefeated Jordan Purkiss in his last fight. Like Bourke, he is also on a three-fight win streak. Lane was previously the Commonwealth super bantamweight champion, a title he lost when he faced Brad Foster in a bid to add the British title in 2019. He came in at 117.88 lbs for this fight.
Moses Itauma and Luke McCormack to Feature
In addition to the main event, Itauma will be take on Dan Garber (6-2, 2 KOs) in an eight-round heavyweight contest. The 19-year-old Brit is seen as one of the most promising young fighters in the country. He fought seven times in his debut year – with six bouts in the UK and one on the undercard of Tyson Fury’s split decision win over Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia.
Tokyo Olympian McCormack will enter the professional ranks with a six-round clash against Robin Zamora (21-26, 10 KOs, 1 NC). Queensberry Promotions has listed the fight as a super lightweight clash, but both men came in around the 145 lbs mark. McCormack won his opening bout against Manish Kaushik at the Olympics via split decision. His next fight saw him lose to now-lightweight contender Andy Cruz.
