As we get closer to fight night, Andy Cruz has revealed his future aspirations and the Cuban lightweight has again received high praise from Eddie Hearn.

Andy Cruz enjoyed a glittering amateur career, which saw him win a number of gold medals, including gold at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics. Since joining the professional ranks, the Cuban-born fighter is 2-0, with 1 KO victory, and has taken seamlessly to the pro ranks. His last win was impressive as he dismantled Jovanni Straffon in just three rounds on the Devin Haney vs. Regis Prograis undercard.

The Cuban-born fighter has revealed his future aspirations to Matchroom, and he is not planning to take his time to get there: “I’m looking forward to put on a show that the public deserve. The ring will decide what happens but I want to challenge for a World Title soon.”
Cruz also said: “I’m happy to be back on stage again so quickly. He just needs to be careful because I’m coming for everything.” He added: “And I want to win every title along the way, and make history in this sport.”
