Pacquiao signs with McGregor agency- his next fight?
We still await what fight a Hall of Famer to be, Manny Pacquiao, will have next? And, we may have gotten a clue Tuesday night.
That’s when Paradigm Sports Management in Los Angeles, CA, announced that they’ve agreed to a promotional contract with the eight division world champion:

Pacquiao said in the press release,
“I am proud to partner with Paradigm Sports Management and am excited for the opportunities that [Paradigm president and CEO] Audie Attar and PSM have to offer,” Pacquiao said in a statement. “One thing I want everyone to remember is to always think positively. Never think negatively; that is the beginning of your downfall. Everything is possible.”
Paradigm, also has a promotional deal with UFC champion and mega-star, Conor McGregor. And obviously, this signing of Pacquiao will fuel speculation that McGregor might very well be his next opponent in a boxing ring later this summer.
McGregor ventured into the ring with Floyd Mayweather in August of 2017, but was beaten easily in Mayweather’s 50th consecutive victory, before he retired.
As we have previously written, there are also rumors of a potential Mayweather Pacquiao rematch for later in 2020 as well. The two fought an historic, lucrative “pay-per-view bonanza” fight in May of 2015, which Mayweather won easily my decision.
However Mayweather is now 43 and been retired for over two and half years, and Pacquiao is now 41.
McGregor, who just defeated Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone by first-round TKO on January 18th, is 31 years old and is the UFC’s most marketable star. And, his flamboyant Muhammad Ali-like promotional personality would definitely sell hundreds of thousands of pay-per-views on that alone.
McGregor welcomed Pacquiao to his management company on social media Tuesday night:

As for Pac-Man, he’s 62-7-2, with 39 KOs, and it has also been rumored that he might fight either unified Welterweight Champion Errol Spence or perhaps contender Danny Garcia in a fight this summer. Those fighters, as well as Pacquiao are under the Premier Boxing Champions promotional umbrella.
ESPN boxing Insider Dan Rafael reported on Tuesday night that he spoke to Pacquiao’s management team CEO, Sean Gibbons, and Gibbons said of the situation/relationship with PBC:
“(he’s) 1000% with PBC” and “has existing fights left with PBC.”
This means that Pacquiao McGregor would be in play potentially for a PBC promoted, Fox pay-per-view, just like Pacquiao’s last fight, which was a victory last July over WBA welterweight champion, Keith Thurman.
