Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua: Daniel Dubois makes his pick for December 11
On December 11 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua is finally set to happen, with the huge event shown live and exclusively around the world on Netflix. This fight has been a decade in the making and will have the WBA super heavyweight title on the line. Many in the sport are already having their say on who will win, and WBO heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois has revealed his pick for the fight to DAZN News, as he prepares to face Fabio Wardley in their rematch.
Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua: British titans finally set to collide
Tyson Fury (36-2-1, 25 KOs) retired after losing the rematch to Oleksandr Usyk, but announced his return and has fought twice in 2026, defeating Arslanbek Makhmudov before winning a glorified sparring session against Mariusz Wach. His best wins have come against Wladimir Klitschko and Deontay Wilder.
Joshua (30-4, 27 KOs) made his comeback after the Daniel Dubois defeat against Jake Paul. However, shortly after that win, he was involved in a fatal car crash, with his friends Sina Ghami and Latif “Latz” Ayodele losing their lives. Many wondered if we would see AJ in the ring again, but he did return earlier this year against Kristian Prenga. Joshua survived a nightmare first round, with two knockdowns, before stopping Prenga in the second round.
Daniel Dubois makes his pick for Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua
Speaking to DAZN News, Dubois was asked who he thinks will win between Fury and Joshua:
“I’ll pick Fury (to win), but it’s hard to even do that.
“Two veterans are going to have a big-money fight. To me, it’s not even a proper fight. It’s just business.
“Good luck to them and may the best man win.”

The Big Fight Weekend verdict
Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua has undoubtedly garnered a lot of interest already, despite both fighters being past their best. Whoever wins on December 11, whether they will want to fight on remains to be seen, but if they do, there are many big fights out there.
Could the winner take the WBA super title and face Murat Gassiev, who holds the WBA regular title, or will they move on to more lucrative fights against Agit Kabayel (WBC champ), Dubois (WBO) or IBF champion Filip Hrgovic? It feels like the heavyweight division has some interesting possibilities leading into 2027, with Ring Magazine champion Oleksandr Usyk seemingly only looking for one more fight.
