Floyd Schofield vs. Lucas Bahdi undercard fights announced
The undercard for Floyd Schofield (19-0, 13 KOs) vs. Lucas Bahdi (20-0, 15 KOs) is now set.
Their bout headlines a card presented by Golden Boy Promotions in co-promotion with Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, IL. Fight fans around the world will be able to catch the action live on DAZN.
The card originally had Ricardo Sandoval (27-2, 18 KOs) putting his WBA and WBC flyweight world titles on the line against Oscar Collazo (15-0, 12 KOs) as chief support. That fight fell apart after a rib injury to Collazo. The Oct. 10 event will still see Sandoval defend those titles in addition to featuring boxers promoted by Most Valuable Promotions and Golden Boy Promotions.

Just before the main event, Sandoval will put his WBA and WBC flyweight world titles at stake against Sergio Mendoza (27-1, 23 KOs).
“I’m very excited to still be fighting in Chicago and to have the opportunity to defend my titles for the first time,” said Sandoval in a press release statement. “I’ve been training extremely hard and I’m ready to put on a great performance. I know the fans can expect an exciting fight, and I’m looking forward to stepping into the ring and giving them a show.”
“I want to thank the people who made this fight possible,” said Mendoza in the same press release. “I’m going to leave my soul in the ring to become world champion.”
Also to feature on the DAZN broadcast of this card will be an eight-round lightweight contest between Jahmal Harvey (4-0, 3 KOs) and Pedro Castaneda (9-1-1, 5 KOs). Jan Paul Rivera (16-0, 7 KOs) will take on Abraham Perfecto (14-2, 9 KOs) in a 10-round super featherweight clash.
On a portion of the undercard that will be broadcast on YouTube, Joshua Edwards (7-0, 6 KOs) faces Craig Lewis (15-9-1, 8 KOs, 1 NC) in an eight-round heavyweight fight. Tristan Kalkreuth (17-1, 12 KOs) takes on Iván Rosado (12-0, 9 KOs) in a 10-round cruiserweight clash. Grant Flores (13-0, 9 KOs) is set to face Mikey Dahlman (19-2, 17 KOs) in a 10-round middleweight bout. Naomy Valle (15-1, 9 KOs) will also face Sheyla Moreno (5-1-1, 1 KO) in an eight-round flyweight contest.
