Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois 2 is set to headline at Wembley Stadium on July 19, for the undisputed heavyweight crown up for grabs. It will be the second time in 14 months that the undisputed title will be on the line, following Usyk defeating Tyson Fury in their first fight. Since Usyk became undisputed he has vacated the IBF belt, which is now held by Dubois. Their undisputed heavyweight match-up will take place on July 19, supported by an impressive undercard.

Usyk vs Dubois 1 took place in Wroclaw, Poland in 2023, with the Ukrainian dominating much of the fight before stopping the Brit in the ninth round. The fight wasn’t without controversy, with Usyk hitting the canvas from a Dubois body shot that was correctly ruled a low blow. Team Dubois and many in boxing felt the body shot was legal, and now the Brit has his chance for vengeance.

Ahead of the highly anticipated rematch on July 19, Froch had his say: “This is a proper big fight for professional boxing and Dubois has got a chance. He’s a big, heavy lad who can punch and he’s improved since their first fight. He’s confident. Look what he did to AJ. Usyk couldn’t finish off AJ like Dubois did.”

“Dubois is heavy and so strong. But the problem Dubois has is that Usyk is technical. Dubois has a fighting chance, but Usyk will be the clear favourite. But he is the older man by 10 years and Dubois is on a crest of the wave, flying with confidence and this is his big chance.”
