Must-See Boxing in March: Three Fights You Can’t Miss
The boxing world has come alive in 2025, following the stacked ‘The Last Crescendo’ card on February 22 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It was a night that saw Dmitry Bivol gain revenge and become the undisputed light heavyweight champion. This is just the beginning of what is shaping to be a wonderful year in boxing. Big Fight Weekend are bringing you three fights from the boxing schedule to look forward to in March in no particular order.
Boxing Schedule: Three Fights to Look Forward to in March
Boxing Schedule: Gervonta Davis vs Lamont Roach – March 1
Gervonta Davis (30-0, 28 KOs) and Lamont Roach (25-1-1, 10 KOs) will meet on March 1 at the Barclays Center, in Brooklyn. It will be the main event of a PBC Pay-Per-View event on Prime Video. Fight fans will also be able to catch the WBA lightweight world title fight through traditional cable and satellite outlets as well as PPV.com. The boxing world always tunes in when “Tank” fights and this will be no different. Despite Roach coming up from super featherweight, he was an accomplished amateur, losing twice narrowly to Davis in the amateurs. “Tank” will rightly start as the firm favourite, but can Roach cause a monumental upset on March 1?
Natasha Jonas vs Lauren Price – March 7
Natasha Jonas (16-2-1, 9 KOs) vs Lauren Price (8-0, 2 KOs) is one of the best fights possible in women’s boxing. It will be a unification fight with the WBC, WBA, IBF and Ring Magazine welterweight titles on the line. The entire “unstoppable” card will be available on Sky Sports for UK fight fans. It will take place at the Royal Albert Hall, a unique and fitting venue for such an evenly matched fight.
Kenshiro Teraji vs. Seigo Yuri Akui – March 13
On March 13 at the Ryogoku Kokugikan Arena in Tokyo, an intriguing flyweight unification fight will take place, as WBC champion Kenshiro Teraji (24-1, 15 KOs) defends his title against WBA champion Seigo Yuri Akui (21-2-1, 11 KOs). Akui is relentless and mixes his shots well, while Teraji possesses exceptional footwork and quick hands, allowing him to control distance effectively. This matchup has the potential to deliver explosive action.
