Adam Azim vs Sergey Lipinets Fight Recap
The opening round saw Azim move well and pick his shots. Lipinets kept his guard high and showed his experience, using his jab.
In the third round, Azim showcased his impressive speed, knocking Lipinets down with a short left hook. The Slough fighter showed poise after the knockdown and didn’t rush his work, landing the right hand almost at will. Despite the bravery of the Kazakh fighter, Azim remained in control.
In round four, “The Assassin” was deducted a point for a low blow but remained well on top, with his fast hands catching the eye.
Lipinets’ guard served him well, and he had his moments, but Azim’s speed and shot selection kept him in complete control.
The Brit lost another point in round seven for a low blow while still dominating the fight. Despite pressure from the Kazakh fighter, Azim impressed on the inside with hooks and uppercuts. His dominance continued in round eight, landing the right uppercut almost at will and clearly hurting the brave Lipinets, who somehow survived the round.
Round by round, the Slough fighter broke the experienced Lipinets down until the referee stepped in and waved the fight off in round nine. Azim sent a message to Dalton Smith and the rest of the division—this was an old-fashioned beatdown.
