Fight Recap

Akhmadaliev moved around the ring in the opening round, moving back whenever his opponent pushed forward to throw punches. The Uzbek stuck to this approach and was successfully landing punches from range. On the other hand, Espinoza struggled to close the distance and land shots of his own.

In round three, Akhmadaliev sent his opponent down for the first time in the fight with a left cross. Though Espinoza got up, the end was near for him. Not long after, a right hook caused the Mexican to fall forward. Espinoza got up yet again, but after being hit with another left cross the referee decided to wave things off. As a result, Akhmadaliev walked away with the technical knockout win.
