Jaron Ennis Promises Dominance in Karen Chukhadzhian Rematch
‘Boots’ Sends Strong Warning to Karen Chukhadzhian
Ennis was last seen on his Matchroom Boxing debut, dominating David Avanesyan, in what was a good performance considering “Boots” had been inactive for a year. He has a brilliant boxing brain with a superb jab, and anyone who faces him will be up against it.
The Philadelphia-born fighter faced Chukhadzhian back in 2023, winning dominantly by unanimous decision with the judge’s scorecards reading 120-108 x3. Ahead of their rematch, “Boots” has made it clear he wants to put on a show this time: “I’m going to put on a beautiful show by beating him up, breaking him down, having my fun, and getting my knockout at the end of the night,” Ennis said.

“Boots” added: “It’s going to be fireworks. I saw a lot of things that I am going to apply in this fight to show that I am that guy and show the world why I am the best.”
Talking about Chukhadzhian and what’s important on fight night, the IBF champ said: “He doesn’t do anything that concerns me. It was more about myself on fight night when I fought him. I didn’t do what I was supposed to do. It was never him. It was me not doing what I was supposed to be doing and just looking for the knockout … As long as I have my fun, everything will fall into place. The knockout comes when you don’t look for it.”
