Three Must-Watch Fights in November, Including Highly Anticipated Rematch
November will see a number of major bouts, including the rematch between Katie Taylor (23-1, 6 KOs) and Amanda Serrano (47-2-1, 31 KOs).
This year has already seen several significant fights, such as Oleksandr Usyk becoming the undisputed heavyweight champion. However, 2024 has yet to end, and there are still some bouts you do not want to miss. With November soon to come, Big Fight Weekend presents three fights from the boxing schedule to look forward to this month in no particular order.
Boxing Schedule: Three Fights to Look Forward to in November
Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano II
It’s a clash for the undisputed super lightweight championship. These two women have fought in the past, with Taylor winning a split decision to retain the undisputed lightweight championship in 2022. Their rematch will be at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX, on the undercard of Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul (which may not even be a sanctioned bout). While that main event is not much to speak of, the Taylor-Serrano rematch merits attention.
Sunny Edwards vs. Galal Yafai
This is a bout pitting the two best British flyweights at the moment. In one corner is Sunny Edwards (21-1, 4 KOs), a former world champion. On the other hand, there is Galal Yafai (8-0, 6 KOs), an Olympic gold medalist looking to become a world champion soon. These two will fight at the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham, England. Their abilities and past accomplishments make this clash one to watch.
Gilberto Ramírez vs. Chris Billam-Smith
The winner of this fight will be a unified cruiserweight champion. While Gilberto Ramírez (46-1, 30 KOs) brings the WBA title to this contest, Chris Billam-Smith (20-1, 13 KOs) brings the WBO. It will take place at The Venue Riyadh Season in Saudi Arabia. This pits two of the best cruiserweights in the world at the moment. Additionally, it is a unification and those are the kinds of fights fans like to see.
