Alycia Baumgardner vs. Bo Mi Re Shin fight recap
Alycia Baumgardner (18-1, 7 KOs, 1 NC) was made to work against Bo Mi Re Shin (19-4-3, 10 KOs), but ultimately won via unanimous decision.
Scores were 99-91 and 98-92 (x2). Baumgardner remains the IBF, WBA, and WBO super featherweight world champion with the result. She has held the IBF and WBO titles since winning them against Mikaela Mayer in 2022. Baumgardner won the WBA title in 2023 against Elhem Mekhaled.
Baumgardner had a strong opening round, patiently landing combinations from a distance. She established earlier on that she was the quicker of the two. Shin struggled to close the distance and was also not landing much from range. When she did come forward, she would get caught with jabs and counters.
Shin made things physical in round three which saw holding become more frequent. In the fourth, Baumgardner buckled the legs of the challenger with a right uppercut followed by a left hook to the head. She landed a barrage after that, but a push sent Shin to the canvas and prevented the champion from capitalizing further.

Baumgardner got hit with a number of uppercuts in round six. Shin was trying to drag her into a brawl and started to connect more and more. After getting hit with more uppercuts early in round seven, Baumgardner opted to move off of the back foot and slow things down. This approach saw a reduction in how many punches Shin was able to land.
Shin continued to press forward, but was unable to replicate the success she had in rounds six and seven. Baumgardner outboxed her for the most part. Even when the two were brawling, it was the reigning champion who usually got the better of the exchanges. Both women went toe-to-toe as the fight neared its end, but it was clear that Baumgardner had done enough to get her hand raised.

Shadasia Green vs. Lani Daniels fight recap
Lani Daniels (12-4-2, 2 KOs) upset the odds in her ninth round technical knockout win over Shadasia Green (16-2, 11 KOs)
The official time of stoppage was 0:32. Daniels is now the IBF and WBO super middleweight world champion with the victory. She is now a three division world champion, having previously held the IBF heavyweight and light heavyweight titles.
Daniels showed a willingness to come forward early on and Green was willing to fight her on the inside and trade. Both women exchanged several hard shots with each other. Daniels maintained her aggressive approach as the fight went on, clearing throwing at a higher volume than her opponent. Green had more success when she chose to box and move off of the back foot, something that was evident in round five.
Although Green was able to rock the challenger with a hard left hook to the head in the seventh, Daniels was able to do the same with a right and left hook upstairs towards the end of the round. Green, who was looking exhausted, was struggling with the volume coming from her opponent. It would not be long before the fight came to an end.
At the beginning of round nine, Daniels cornered the champion and landed a barrage of punishing shots to the head and body. Referee Eric Dali put an end to proceedings after seeing no response from Green. There were concerning scenes at the end of the fight, with Green having to leave the ring on a stretcher. Big Fight Weekend hopes that she makes a speedy recovery.
