Dobson Talks Upcoming Fight With Conor Benn
When asked about the face-off with Benn and the comments from the British fighter about Dobson shaking and seeming scared, he said: “I didn’t take him seriously.“
The American spoke about the potential gains from beating Benn: “I feel like it’s a told-you-so moment, but I’m gonna have bigger fights after this.” He added: “Now the world gets to see how good I am.”

Dobson was also asked about the ability of Benn – and the Bronx native didn’t hold back: “He gets hit a lot. He’s like a punching bag.” He continued: “He doesn’t really have good defence.“
The 16-0 fighter American also touched on his back story to where he is now and described it as a Cinderella story.
Michelle Joy Phelps asked Dobson about his boxing style, and he said: “I’m a boxer-puncher.” As the interview drew to a close, the Bronx resident revealed his prediction for Saturday’s main event: “I wanna knock him out, to be honest. I’m a very accurate puncher, so I feel like I am probably going to stop him.“
