Tyson Fury On Lack Of Opponent Clarity- “Pack of Wet Lettuces”

Without a doubt, WBC Heavyweight champ Tyson Fury is the most flamboyant “talker” in the Heavyweight division. And, on Tuesday, he decided to express some hilarious frustration on social media about whom his next opponent might be and when?

Fury posted on Twitter about the statuses of current Unified titleholder (WBA/IBF/WBO) Oleksandr Usyk, former champ (and fellow Englishman) Anthony Joshua and English contender Dillian Whyte,

“I’m being asked this question over and over again (when is he fighting again). I do not know the answers to it. I’ve been training for eight weeks. How long does a man need to train? Joshua is a coward. Usyk’s a pu$$y. And, Dillian Whyte don’t want to fight.

So, if you can prove me wrong, get to fu#*king fighting. You pair of cowards. You’re all cowards. You’re all bum dossers. Have a fight or do one. You pack of wet lettuces,” Fury concluded.

As for the “wet lettuces” reference, the urban dictionary defines it more and let’s just say that Fury is claiming those three are not as masculine as required to get in the ring with him, yet.

As we wrote on Monday, Joshua had responded to newspaper reports in England Sunday that he is strongly considering “step aside” money in the vicinity of $15 million pounds ($20.3 million U.S. dollars) to give up his rematch clause, for now. against Usyk.

That would allow Fury to fight him first and then, Joshua would be guaranteed the winner in an Undisputed bout.

I see certain interviews that quote what I said. I think to myself, I ‘aint done no interviews. Where did this person get that information from? I’m hearing people saying AJ accepts $15 mil (pounds) to step aside. I ‘aint signed no contract. I ‘aint seen no contract,” Joshua said on video.

So, as it stands, stop listening to the BullSh#*t. Until it comes from me. I’m the man in control of my destiny, my business. I’m the man that handles my business. I’m a smart individual. And, I make calculated decisions every step of the way.

Don’t listen to BullSh#*t from other sources. If I tell you something, then you’ll no it’s real,” he concluded.

The unbeaten Fury was last seen knocking out former champ Deontay Wilder in October for the second time in a year and a half in the latest defense of his WBC belt. And, the belief is that an Undisputed fight with Usyk is smarter to do first, because if Usyk beats Joshua again in their rematch tentatively to take place in May, there would be no marketability for a potential “All-Britian Undisputed title fight” with Fury in the future.

The mess with Whyte is unresolved, as is the WBC’s delayed purse bid for their proposed bout. Whyte is also suing the organization for not giving him a title shot, as of yet, while being on/off their #1 contender for over two years.

So, you could see and hear the “Gypsy King’s” playful frustration on the video.

And now, we wait for it to sort out soon on the reality of Joshua step aside deal or if Fury is fighting Whyte later this Spring, etc.?
