Terence Crawford- Shawn Porter PPV Price Tag Set
When Terence Crawford and Shawn Porter face off November 20 on ESPN+ Pay-Per-View from the Mandalay Bay’s Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas, we know how much it will cost.
Keith Idec over at Boxingscene reported that the price to view Crawford’s latest title defense will cost all of us $69.99 in American money.
This is normally the part where I would sit here and gripe with you all about the “price point,” but every fight of importance has been behind some sort of paywall. This one just comes at a “discount” as most recently the Tyson Fury-Deontay Wilder and Canelo Alvarez- Caleb Plant fights were $79.99 respectively.
If you enjoy being a boxing consumer fear not as December, Showtime will have two more pay-per-views featuring Gervonta Davis and Jake Paul respectively to close out the year.

So what does your money pay for? An undercard that will feature a couple of middleweight prospects. One of which is an IBF title eliminator between Esquiva “La Pantera” Falcao taking on unbeaten Canadian Patrice Volny. If that didn’t pique your interest, Janibek Alimkhanuly takes on former world champ Hassan N’Dam also. Worth noting, that the plan was to keep the price fair but was a necessary evil due to the purses of the main event in Crawford and Porter.
“The only way you can do this fight is on pay-per-view because of the purses,” Arum stated to Boxing back in September about the combined guarantees of roughly $10 million for Crawford and Porter. “And I think it’ll do well on pay-per-view. But we’re gonna try to keep the price reasonable.”
This is the next big fight in Vegas and is one I’m looking forward to. Speaking with TC Martin on the TC Martin Show about the fight, the biggest look ahead before the fight begins is all on how Crawford will fare, especially early in the fight after a long layoff.
Also, what will Porter do differently this time around? Well have all of those answered in two weeks, but it will cost you $69.99 on pay-per-view to find out.
Legally.
