Bellew Breaks Down Fury vs. Usyk 2

The first Usyk-Fury fight saw the Ukrainian win a razor-tight split decision with one judge scoring it 114-113 for Fury, while the other two had it 115-112 and 114-113 for Usyk. The historic win saw the Ukrainian superstar become the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis. Bellew has revealed his thoughts on the rematch, including praising Fury for his resilience:

Well, you’d hope so. I’d say the tragedy came literally so close to the fact that he didn’t know. But what he’s gone through in his personal life is just, I can’t even bear to think and comprehend. Thoughts and wishes are with him and his family, but may the best man win on the night,” said Bellew.

“I’ve said before, I’ll say it again. I just think I can’t see past Oleksandr Usyk. I just think the guy’s an absolute machine.Don’t get me wrong, at Tyson Fury’s size and weight, he shouldn’t lose, if I’m being totally honest. When you have advantages like that, you shouldn’t lose. But, if anyone’s gonna beat him, it’s obviously gonna be Oleksandr Usyk,” Bellew said revealing his prediction for the Dec. 21 main event.
