Brown spoke positively on his recent training camp with Salas: “Everyday I’m in training camp I’m getting better and better. I’m in the best shape of my life and I’m getting the proper sparring to be ready for this fight. Coach Salas and I have put a lot of hard work in and it will show on fight night.”

Speaking on his upcoming fight vs. Umara: “I know he is a fellow countryman from Cuba, so he is well trained from his youth, and he brings a lot of skill to the ring. I’m prepared to go the distance, but I will take him out if I get him hurt. I’m in the business of knockout out my opponents and this fight won’t be any different.”

Fighting for a Title and Climbing the Rankings

“This will be my 4th fight scheduled for 10-rounds and I feel the time is now to make my mark in the super lightweight division. I’m ready to take on all contenders and hopefully I’ll be in position to fight for a world title in 2025. I’m hungry and I want to be a world champion, and capturing the WBA Continental title will help.”
