Fabio Wardley recent form

The only blemish on the record of Wardley (20-0-1, 19 KOs) is the entertaining 12-round war with Frazer Clarke. The Ipswich man brutally stopped Clarke in the rematch, and since then, his career has accelerated onto a new plane. Wins over Justis Huni and Joseph Parker saw Wardley capture the WBO interim heavyweight title, with Usyk vacating the full title, and Wardley was subsequently elevated.

Daniel Dubois recent form

When Dubois (22-3, 21 KOs) lost to Oleksandr Usyk the first time, the questions over his desire from the Joe Joyce fight resurfaced. Many doubted he would win a world title, but Dubois bounced back in style, defeating Jarrell Miller and Filip Hrgovic, before being elevated from the IBF interim champion to the full champion after Usyk decided to vacate. “Dynamite” then faced Anthony Joshua at Wembley Stadium, stopping AJ in the fifth round.

Fabio Wardley vs Daniel Dubois prediction

Wardley vs Dubois is a straight shootout. Both are huge punchers, which makes the event name of “Don’t Blink” even more apt. Wardley has shown he can dig deep into the well and find that fight-ending power late in fights. When he lets his hands go, he puts his punches together well and throws everything with intent.

Dubois is equally heavy-handed and has many highlight-reel stoppages. He has a ramrod jab, and when he starts fast as he did against Joshua, he’s difficult to unsettle. “Dynamite” has been stopped before, but he showed a granite chin against Hrgovic; he won’t want to take many right hands flush on the chin from Wardley.

This is going to be fireworks; we are certain both will have their moments before Wardley stops Dubois in rounds 6-8. This is a difficult one to predict, but it should be an easy one to enjoy.
