DAZN To Stream Celebrity Boxers KSI-Fury And Logan Paul-Danis Card

Friday saw the global streaming service DAZN confirm that they will offer the latest Misfits Boxing celebrity boxers card on pay per view from Manchester England next Saturday night. This, as Youtube and social media star KSI will battle Tommy Fury, the unbeaten half brother of WBC heavyweight champ, Tyson Fury. And, also in a co-main event, fellow Youtube/social media star Logan Paul will meet former UFC fighter Dillon Danis.

From the DAZN official release,

“Manchester’s AO Arena plays host to the biggest ever night of crossover boxing and before the co-main card even commences, fans will be treated to the fight everyone wanted to see as Salt Papi vs Slim battle alongside other colossal clashes.

As expected, tickets for this historic night were snapped up in double-quick time, meaning the only way to now watch the action unfold is live and exclusive on DAZN and DAZN PPV. Fans worldwide will be provided with all the action from a jampacked card which takes the form of the following:

· As the co-main, KSI locks horns with Tommy Fury in a blockbuster we all hope will end in one of the men losing their undefeated title.
· Alongside KSI and Fury in the co-main, WWE revelation Logan Paul and MMA fighter, Dillon Danis, will be forced to swap warring words for fists as they battle to see who will come out on top. This clash has much more at stake than a belt.
· Salt Papi will help kick off the night as he meets Slim, a mouth-watering encounter announced live at X Series 009 when the two men had to be physically separated…

The event will be available on DAZN PPV across the world in markets including the UK (GBP £19.99), Brazil (BRL 24..99), Canada (CAD $54.99), United-States (USD $54.99)…”

The Intrigue of the Celebrtiy Boxers Co-main events

KSI, real name- Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji, is 1-0 and Tommy Fury, 9-0, will battle in an official six round cruiserweight fight. Fury is fresh off of handing Jake Paul his first pro loss by decision in their February meeting in Saudi Arabia. That lucrative battle has made Fury a commodity for a KSI pay per view event.

As for the social media star turned WWE wrestler, Logan Paul, his fight with the MMA figher Danis has been in doubt with Danis threatening to pull out due to dissatisfaction with the event and his money. Danis aborted fighting KSI in January, which led to the legitimate concern  However, that appears to have been smoothed over.

The Paul-Danis bout is an official Bridgerweight contest and is also scheduled for six rounds.

It is believed that no matter who wins the KSI-Fury fight, that Logan Paul will look to fight that person next. He previously lost to KSI by a controversial split decision in a six round fight in 2019, which came off their amateur exhibition in 2018, that was ruled a majority draw.

Paul is officially 0-1 as a pro with that official decision loss. He did fight an exhibition bout that didn’t have official scoring with future hall of famer Floyd Mayweather in Miami in June 2021.

Obviously, if Fury wins over KSI, then it could set the stage for Paul to avenge his younger brother’s loss.
