Unbeaten junior featherweight fighter Romuel “Cuco” Cruz (10-0-1, 4 KOs) will appear on the bill and take on Robin Ellis (6-3, 5 KOs). Cruz is coached by renowned world championship trainer Stephen “Breadman” Edwards, and it is difficult to see past a win for the Philadelphia fighter, who has impressed so far with his performances, but it feels there’s more to come from this talented pugilist.

Middleweight southpaw Erron “JYD” Peterson (5-0-1, 4 KOs) will also appear on the bill under the tutelage of Edwards, and he will take on Raheem Davis (1-2) in a four-round bout. Peterson has shown an impressive finishing ability in his fights, and we are tipping him to use his experience to defeat Davis.

Rest of the Card

Heavyweight contender George Arias (18-1, 7 KOs), fighting out of New York City, will take on the heavy-handed unbeaten Skylar Lacy (8-0-1, 6 KOs), of Indianapolis, Indiana, in an eight-round contest. Arias has shown a talent for defeating undefeated fighters. He picks his punches well and is a smart boxer, with his only defeat coming against the highly regarded Jared Anderson. Lacy impressed in a recent bout, fighting to a spirited draw against former National amateur champion Antonio Mireles. This looks set to be a close contest, but we are tipping Arias by unanimous decision.

Another bout previously announced, will see the unbeaten Roney Hines (13-0-1, 8 KOs) take a step up in competition to face Robert Hall Jr. (14-2, 11 KOs), who was last seen losing to contender Jerry Forrest by unanimous decision. It remains to be seen how far Hines can go, but this will be the toughest test of his career, and we are going for a unanimous decision win for Hall.

Arguably, the most intriguing feature on the card is the appearance of Jamaican super welterweight southpaw Kestna “Hardball” Davis (5-0, 0 KOs), who will face Abdalla Nagy (1-0, 0 KOs) in a four-round bout. Davis is mentored by former undisputed heavyweight world champion Lennox Lewis – adding intrigue to this clash. The mentoring has been present since July 2016 through the Lennox Lewis League of Champions Foundation, where the two met. We are backing Davis by unanimous decision.

Undefeated bantamweight Wilver Hernandez (8-0, 2 KOs) will take on experienced Filipino journeyman Merlito Sabillo (27-10-1, 13 KOs). It’s difficult to look past the promising 21-year-old, and we are tipping him to win by stoppage.

Some of the fight information was taken from a recent press release from DiBella Entertainment.
