Ben Shalom Enters the Boxing World
The interview with Shalom began – with him describing how he started in events before moving specifically into boxing: “It wasn’t a choice my parents really understood.” He added: “There isn’t really a career to be in boxing.” The CEO of BOXXER described the importance of his dedication to his work and how that has led him to this point.
Rafael asked Shalom about the feeling of landing the Sky Sports deal: “Yeah, it was a crazy moment. It was a culmination of a lot of work.” He continued on to the competition with Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren: “I’m competing against guys that have been at the top for a very long time.” He continued: “It’s incredibly challenging – but incredibly rewarding.“

The interview soon turned to the upcoming fight between Buatsi and Azeez, which the BOXXER founder describing it as a big fight for British culture – and said: The WBA have given us assurance that it will be ordered as a mandatory, the winner will be. hopefully after the unification.” He continued: “I believe the winner will fight for a world title.“
