Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou, 10 Rounds Heavyweight Battle

Former unified world heavyweight champ Joshua, (27-3, 24 KOs) will return to Saudi Arabia for a pay-per-view on March 8 to battle the former UFC star Francis Ngannou in a lucrative, attention-getting showdown 10 round showdown.

When last we saw “AJ,” he was overwhelming fellow contender Otto Wallin by TKO in the co-main event of the “Day of Reckoning” card in Riyadh on December 23. Joshua is looking for the chance to regain the titles but must wait for one of the fights below.

So in the meantime, he’ll battle Ngannou, who just had an impressive boxing debut showing by not only hanging in with WBC champ Tyson Fury but knocking him down early in the bout. Fury did just enough to escape with a decision. Ngannou showed he was in shape, had good footwork and had some decent promise with combination punching.

This fight promises to be exciting and unpredictable, after what we saw from Ngannou in the Fury bout.

Tim Tszyu vs. Keith Thurman, 12 Rounds, Middleweight Fight

The Australian sensation Tszyu, 24-0, 17 KOs, is the WBO world champ at 154 lb. However, he’ll meet former unified world welterweight champ Keith Thurman in a Las Vegas pay-per-view on March 30.

It’s the second time that Tszyu, the son of hall of famer Kostya Tszyu, will fight in America after having three successful title defences in Australia in 2023. It’s his first time headlining such an event in the premier location in the USA.

As for Thurman, 30-1, 22 KOs, he’s not been very active, with only one bout in the last four years. However, he was one of the most exciting fighters at 147 lb. in the late 2010s and is looking to recapture the magic.

This fight promises to be an intriguing matchup, as Tszyu seeks a massive battle back down at 154 lbs, while Thurman is looking for his most important win in the past five years.

Devin Haney vs. Ryan Garcia for the WBC Junior Welterweight Crown

On paper, this has a chance to be the best title fight for at least the first half of 2024. Haney (31-0, 15 KOs) will defend the title he won off Regis Prograis by a dominant decision in December against the flamboyant, but yet to win a massive fight, challenger in Garcia. The bout will be in Brooklyn, NY on April 20th on pay-per-view.

Haney already ascended to being one of the top “pound-for-pound” fighters, as he won the undisputed lightweight titles off George Kambosos in Australia in June 2022 and beat him six months later in a rematch. Haney also beat multi-division world champ Vasiliy Lomachenko by narrow decision in May of 2023.

As for Garcia, ( 24-1), he’s got a massive following, especially in California/the West, but he’s never been a world champ. And, he was knocked out on a body shot by Gervonta Davis in April 2023 in a huge PPV event. Now, he’s got a chance to win the biggest bout of his career in this one.

Oleksandr Usyk vs Tyson Fury- The Fight for the WBC, WBA, WBO and IBF World Heavyweight Championship

The fight between Usyk (21-0) and Fury (34-0-1) will now take place on May 17, 2024, again in Saudi Arabia on pay-per-view. Their fight was postponed due to a cut right eye by the English boxer during training just three weeks before they were to meet.

Usyk will defend the three titles he won from Joshua in August 2021 against the WBC champ Fury for the four major world heavyweight titles. Fury is regarded by many as the “true” heavyweight champ, having never lost since he upset Wladimir Klitschko for three of the belts back in November of 2015.

Usyk and Fury finally officially signed contracts to fight after Fury’s embarrassing performance in the Ngannou bout last October. If Fury is victorious, along with Joshua in March, it could eventually set up an all-British undisputed clash for the four belts in 2025.

Conclusion

Big names will clash in the ring, and young talents will have the opportunity to test their strength. Each fight will be not just a sporting event, but a real theatre of emotions and strategies. Boxing fans will have a unique opportunity to enjoy the highest art of martial arts and see the performances of real champions. You should not miss any of these events, as they promise to be dramatic and unpredictable, leaving an unforgettable impression in the heart of every sports fan.
